Welcome to my family blog. I have been married to Mike for over half of my life. I love my Savior, Jesus. I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom to six terrific, interesting children. My 3 oldest were born to me in my younger years, while my 3 youngest were given to me by God in my older years. I am very blessed. ~Cheri

Five Days With Jordan

She is a busy gal.  She spent last weekend with friends at the lake, she went to the station for her last check in before departure, then lunch with a friend.

(1999, hiking with Seth and her dad in WV)

Her last day of work was last Friday.  I'm glad she took over a week of extra time just to be with friends and family.  Even though she won't realize it, I'll be pondering every last second with her, savoring the moment, even in the mundane things.  The magnitude of her departure is slowly starting to hit me, especially during those rare moments when I sit quietly alone.  So bear with me as I blog these last 5 days with Jordan.

6 kind words:

I'll be right here as you blog about it. Jordan leaving is a huge change for your family. Enjoy every minute before she goes.

Oh Cheri, you make me want to cry just reading this post. I cannot imagine the day when my oldest daughter leaves home. I will be a mess. We are going to be praying for you during this time. Enjoy those cherished moments!

Enjoy each moment and I am enjoying the memories that you are sharing. Beautiful pictures! I've been there - three times so I totally understand! Praying!

Cheri, I will be praying for you as Jordan departs for career! Love and prayers! Vicky

Oh, that picture is so sweet. Goodness! How you're going to miss your precious girl. Enjoy these special days with her.
