After returning home with Eva, we knew we wanted to adopt again. We found Joy just 6 months later on a special needs list. We quickly rushed to complete our dossier, and traveled less than a year after our first adoption. Joy was placed in our arms in August 2007, in Guangdong. She is from Wuchuan in Southern Guangdong. After some initial trials, Joy has smoothly fell into place as the baby of the family.

Here is my post of our referral from our previous website:
We are thrilled to anounce our daughter, Wu Chun Meng, soon to be Joy Chun Meng. She is from the Wuchuan Social Welfare Institue in the Guangdong Province in China. Her birthdate is 5/10/2006.
At 6-months of age she weighed 12.78 pounds and was 25.19 inches long. China says she is fond of music and that she can be obstinate like Eva! She is quiet and has a ready smile.
Now, we are in the process of quickly getting our paperwork together so that we can bring Joy home as soon as possible.
1 kind words:
I came across your blog via Kay Bratt. Our daughters were in Wuchuan together, our daughter came home in Nov 2007, she was 14 months at the time. Did you visit the SWI? Do you have photos with other children? I have some photos from when we sent cake. The other children are most older. If I run across some photos with younger children I will gladly send them to you to take a peak at.
