He started the 54-hour Crucible in the wee hours of Wednesday morning and finished up with the 9-mile hike back to the barracks by 7:30 this morning. He's had no shower, 3 meals ready to eat, and little sleep.
I haven't slept a whole lot since Wednesday. I've been up through the nights whispering prayers of strength to his Savior. I cannot even put into words the pride I feel right now. He is a Marine. He proudly serves his country. He is proudly living his dream.
5 kind words:
Woot! Woot! So proud!!!!!
Congrats!
Congratulations to you both! You made it to this day! It's been a long time coming! :)
You AND your son should be soooo proud. Job well done BOTH of you.
I can't imagine what that must have been like for you -- for both of you -- during those 54 hours. So glad the Lord sustained him. Congratulations to your Marine son.
WOW! That's some serious endurance! Congratulation to both you and Seth. Our country is proud to have men like him serving.
