I remember spending all my spare time reading books. I could spend hours in a library even now. One Saturday as teen, I spent my whole day in my pajamas reading a book. I'm thankful that most of my children like to read. It brings a whole new world right into their home. So, I was quite tickled the other evening when I saw this scene in my living room. They are learning to love reading.
What you don't see is my husband sitting in his chair reading also. Now, how do I get Jack to join the gang?
Welcome to my family blog. I have been married to Mike for over half of my life. I love my Savior, Jesus. I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom to six terrific, interesting children. My 3 oldest were born to me in my younger years, while my 3 youngest were given to me by God in my older years. I am very blessed. ~Cheri

Precious! I need to send the girls over...maybe it would rub off!
Aw, what a sweet picture!
Love it! During the summer months, when our older four were young, I required an hour of reading every day. They were allowed to read wherever they chose. I found our son sitting in a tree with his book. I should have taken a picture! Loved this pic of your girls reading!
I bet this scene just warms your heart to no end. I love it! Your girls are precious.
I'm a reader, too, Cheri, and there's nothing better than to curl up with a great book. We should share our favorites! I'm always on the lookout for good, clean, uplifting books.
Beautiful photo!!
