Welcome to my family blog. I have been married to Mike for over half of my life. I love my Savior, Jesus. I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom to six terrific, interesting children. My 3 oldest were born to me in my younger years, while my 3 youngest were given to me by God in my older years. I am very blessed. ~Cheri

Big, Bad Dog

We went from this...

to this...

...in just 5 short weeks.  Moxie went for her first puppy check yesterday.  The first thing the vet said to me upon entering the room, "Look at the size of those joints and feet!".  She will be at least 85 pounds one day.

Moxie is fun and big trouble.  She makes me laugh and the girls cry.  Joy has not figured out that if you run from Moxie, she will chase you and bite at your feet.  Eva is a little braver and will roll around on the floor with her,

playing sweetly,

until Moxie turns on her puppy power.
Then the tears begin.  Eva was fine, but those little teeth hurt!

5 kind words:

My sister's chocolate lab Harley is over 100 lbs. He used to sleep with her (until she bought a new house with the greatest guy ever) - the big moose would put his head on a pillow & lay under the comforter.

Moxie already looks older than when we were there, or maybe it's just seeing that huge difference between new puppy to older puppy! 85 pounds!?!? Wow! Who needs a pony!
Love you,
Becky
