...I take a bunch of girls to the pool...
...and I sit at the table, under the umbrella, doing school work, wearing shorts and a t-shirt (not a swimsuit).
I remember as a kid thinking, "There will never, ever be a time that I will sit on the side of the pool like those old adults." I'm eating my words....
We've not been doing a whole lot this summer. Mike has been very busy with work. Seth came for a visit during the 4th of July...we had rain, rain, and more rain..
...Seth likes to cause me anxiety.
We visited our friends and family in Illinois. Sadly, I only took pictures of our yummy treats at the Dairy. But, it was fun watching the kiddos enjoy themselves. I was quite tamed with a small sundae.
This one belonged to my husband. He deserved it.
Welcome to my family blog. I have been married to Mike for over half of my life. I love my Savior, Jesus. I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom to six terrific, interesting children. My 3 oldest were born to me in my younger years, while my 3 youngest were given to me by God in my older years. I am very blessed. ~Cheri

Oh Cheri, you're too funny. I think Caleb and Madeline are excited that Havi is home because that means mommy has to get in the pool all the time, not just once in a while. lol
I mentally planned our school year last spring, as we anticipated Havi's arrival. But now that August is around the corner, I have to put those thoughts into action, like yesterday....oops.
Enjoy the rest of your summer. Seth sure does know how to increase chest pain. That's why God gave me Madeline and Havi. he he.
Sitting by the pool looks relaxing and those ice cream sundaes looked really good! :)
Yum! I do get in the water, but only to cool off a bit. I don't like being hot!
You crack me up. I was the only one on our last day trip to the beach that didn't get a ray of sun. B/C I sat under the umbrella with a massive hat on. Wish we were closer, we could be "old adults" together. :)
Oh and thanks, now I want ice cream! :)
Sounds like me at the pool!!! You always look beautiful though :)
